As a dense siliceous stone it resists scratching, everyday heat and the coffee, oil and wine spills that mark softer surfaces, and it keeps its finish through years of kitchen use. Polished is the standard face for deep colour and reflection; honed and leathered finishes give a softer, more modern look for islands and bathroom vanity tops. We fabricate to the contractor's field dimensions rather than selling fixed-size blanks. Standard runs are cut from 2 cm slabs with a laminated thick edge where a fuller profile is wanted, while 3 cm slab is used for self-supporting island overhangs and waterfall legs. Every order is CNC-cut with sink and cooktop cutouts (corners radiused to reduce stress), undermount rims polished for a clean reveal, and matching backsplashes produced from the same lot. For wide islands we cut from a single block lot and lay the pieces out together so grain and flash direction stay consistent, with bookmatching available for symmetrical waterfall compositions. Finished pieces are inspected for dimension, finish and edge quality, then reinforced-crated for export.
