Honed Limestone

Honed limestone takes a soft, matte finish that reads quieter and more tactile than a mirror polish — the surface sits gently under a hand and pairs naturally with wood, metal and linen. Because limestone is a warm, porous stone, a honed finish suits interior furniture and non-acid environments where its subtle grain and natural colour are the point. At Apexstone we work honed limestone into solid stone nightstands, furniture and cut-to-size pieces from Portugal beige and similar warm limestones, with natural split-face detail where the design calls for it. Limestone is sealed after fabrication to guard against daily use. Browse honed limestone projects and furniture below, or send your design for a matte natural-stone quote from our factory.
