Statuario Venato water-jet medallions represent the pinnacle of decorative stone craftsmanship — intricate patterns cut with micron-precision from multiple marble varieties, assembled into stunning floor and wall features that function as natural art installations. Our 5-axis water-jet cutting technology achieves tolerance of ±0.1mm, enabling designs of extraordinary complexity: classical borders, floral medallions, geometric patterns, corporate logos, and custom pictorial scenes — all from genuine Italian Statuario Venato marble combined with accent stones. Pricing: ¥3,000-15,000/m² for standard designs; custom designs from ¥5,000/m².

Design Capabilities

Water-jet cutting opens unlimited design possibilities. Classical medallions: compass roses, floral rosettes, Greco-Roman borders, and baroque scrollwork for traditional interiors. Geometric patterns: Art Deco sunbursts, Islamic geometric tessellations, contemporary abstract compositions. Corporate branding: company logos, monograms, and brand elements cut in stone for lobby installations. Custom pictorial: landscape scenes, abstract art, and commemorative designs from client artwork or photography.

Standard sizes: 600×600mm (bathroom inserts), 1000×1000mm (entryway features), 1500×1500mm (foyer centerpieces), 2000×2000mm (grand lobby statements). Non-standard shapes: circles (up to 3000mm diameter), ovals, and custom outlines. Multi-material combinations: Statuario Venato paired with Nero Marquina (black), Emperador (brown), Rosso Levanto (red), or mother-of-pearl inlay.

Fabrication Process

Our water-jet medallion production follows a precise process: (1) Design — client artwork converted to CNC cutting paths with material assignments; (2) Material selection — specific Statuario Venato slabs chosen for veining direction and color consistency; (3) Cutting — 5-axis water-jet at 4,000 bar pressure, cutting through 2cm marble with 0.1mm precision; (4) Assembly — individual pieces hand-assembled on mesh backing, ensuring perfect alignment; (5) Finishing — surface lapping for uniform smoothness across all material joins; (6) Sealing — factory-applied penetrating sealer.

Each medallion is pre-assembled at the factory, photographed for client approval, then carefully packaged for shipment with installation drawings showing exact positioning.

Installation & Project Applications

Installation requires experienced tile setters. Medallions arrive as complete pre-assembled units — installers apply thinset to substrate, position medallion, and ensure level alignment with surrounding flooring. Grout color should complement the dominant marble tone (typically white or light grey for Statuario Venato designs).

Hotel lobby medallions create instant brand identity — guests photograph and share these features, generating organic marketing. Residential entry medallions establish home value perception from the first step inside. Corporate reception medallions communicate brand permanence and investment quality.
